The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has approved a new minimum salary of 5,500 Saudi riyals per month for workers in marketing and sales professions, effective from the date of implementation of the decision.
This directive is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market, enhance the attractiveness of jobs in the private sector, improve the work environment, and ensure a suitable minimum income for workers in these vital professions. The decision also aims to promote job stability and increase the competitiveness of national talent in the fields of marketing and sales.
The ministry emphasized that this measure aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to empower national competencies, increase their participation in the labor market, improve job quality, and localize professions across various sectors.
The decision is expected to raise compliance levels among private sector establishments, encourage them to develop work environments and offer better employment benefits, thereby supporting economic growth and enhancing employment sustainability in the Kingdom.
