“More than 21,000 beneficiaries… ‘Noor’ offers religious programs during two weeks of Ramadan”
The “Noor” Association for Advocacy, Guidance, and Community Awareness in West Dammam announced the continuation of its outreach and charitable efforts during the holy month of Ramadan. Over the past two weeks, 21,700 people benefited from its diverse programs as part of the “Iftar and Outreach 18” campaign, held across two main locations in Dammam.
The first location, near Al-Furqan Mosque in Al-Faisaliyah district, served 11,900 beneficiaries, while the second, at Al-Duwaiyan Mosques in partnership with Al-Duwaiyan Charity Foundation, assisted 9,800 individuals. The association organized six Umrah trips for 270 pilgrims and delivered 31 religious lectures in three languages—Urdu, Bengali, and Arabic—to promote religious awareness among communities.
Additionally, the outreach programs facilitated the conversion of seven new Muslims and held 36 Quranic recitation correction sessions, reinforcing the association’s role in supporting communities through religious and educational services.
These efforts were made possible by 80 volunteers, who contributed 2,520 volunteer hours across various activities, including the distribution of 7,000 mobile iftar meals with the help of 25 volunteers. The association collaborates with the Quran Memorization Association and the Tandeem Afthaz Development Association to maximize its impact.
