Starting January 2, 2026, public transportation fares in Moscow will change. The cost of “Unified” passes for 30, 90, and 365 days will increase by an average of 3.5 rubles. Biometric payment will remain the most cost-effective way to pay for travel.

Single trip prices under the new tariffs:

  • Metro, MCC, MCD, and ground transport using the “Wallet” ticket on “Troika” card: 75 rub. (previously 67 rub.);
  • Biometric payment: 71 rub. (previously 63 rub.);
  • “90 minutes” ticket: 112 rub. (previously 100 rub.);
  • Suburban routes: 102 rub. (previously 90 rub.);
  • Bank card payment: 83 rub. in central zone (previously 74 rub.) and 110 rub. in suburbs (previously 97 rub.).

A 30-day “Unified” pass in the central zone will cost 3,460 rub. (previously 3,160 rub.), 90-day pass: 8,450 rub. (previously 7,650 rub.), annual pass: 24,900 rub. (previously 22,650 rub.). Biometric payment will be 12 rub. cheaper than bank card payment.

Starting in January, the cost of towing improperly parked vehicles will also change. The towing fee for passenger cars with engine power up to 80 hp will increase from 7,600 to 8,500 rub. If the driver pays before retrieving the vehicle from the impound lot, they will receive a 25% discount.

The funds from tariff adjustments will be used to compensate for rising electricity costs, fuel prices, and inflation. Public transportation fares in Moscow were last adjusted on June 1.
