A court in the capital has delivered a guilty verdict in the criminal case of a woman’s murder in 1994. The press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the capital reported this.

“The collected evidence was deemed sufficient by the court to issue a verdict against the man. He was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph ‘b’ of Article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (‘Intentional murder motivated by hooliganism’). The court sentenced him to 11 years in a maximum-security penal colony,” the department stated.

As established by the court, on September 8, 1994, the defendant shot his acquaintance in the head inside a premises on Tallinskaya Street and fled. The woman died at the scene. The motive for the crime was personal animosity.
