Moscow school students have won medals at the International Olympiad on Climate Change and Environmental Issues. The competition was held in the federal territory “Sirius”.

“Emilia Gimaeva from Letovo School won gold, Nikita Yuniso and Milena Ivanova from the Kurchatov School won silver and bronze medals respectively, and Polina Egorova from the Center for Pedagogical Excellence School won bronze. The Russian team won gold in the team competition. Congratulations to the students and their mentors!”

It was noted that participants solved theoretical tasks, individual and team cases. In the practical part, they analyzed anthropogenic impact on nature and collected water samples.

Last year, the International Olympiad on Climate Change and Environmental Issues was held for the first time. At that time, Moscow school students as part of the national team also won four medals.
