In September, the creative center “Moscow Workshops” plans to hold about 60 events for residents and visitors of Moscow.
“The creative center has prepared an extensive program: on Wednesdays, visitors can participate in workshops on painting landscapes and still lifes with watercolors, gouache, and pencils with professional artists from the ‘NotMalevich’ project. On weekends, the center’s lecture hall will host various lectures on the history of art and cinematography.”
In addition to lectures and workshops, guests will be able to attend free tours where they will meet resident artists and see how artworks are created.
The “Moscow Workshops” creative center for artists and youth opened this spring to support emerging authors. It includes 35 fully equipped art studios, a lecture hall, and an exhibition space. Visiting exhibitions and the lecture hall is open to the public. Residents include both experienced and emerging local artists.
