For 12 days now, the search has continued in Kuban for 36-year-old Tatyana Magomedova, who left her home in the village of Voronezhskaya, Ust-Labinsky District, in her gray Mazda on August 21.

Witnesses reported that a tall man got into her car at the entrance to Ust-Labinsk. Together, they drove towards the village of Kirpilskaya, 30 km from Ust-Labinsk. Oleg Kovalenko is also currently being sought by the police.

Residents of Ust-Labinsk said this man previously worked as a local police officer in the khutor of Zhelezny, served in Chechnya, and after leaving the force, was involved in trade. He is divorced and lived alone.

His white Niva was found near the police department in Ust-Labinsk. It is unknown who moved the car, which the man had left at the entrance to Ust-Labinsk when he got into Magomedova’s car. Witnesses also reported that on August 28, neighbors allegedly saw Kovalenko go home, pack a bag, and disappear.

The search was temporarily suspended. However, operational activities did not stop. On Tuesday, September 2, volunteers plan to inspect the area around the sugar factory’s treatment facilities.

“We will need men; there is currently a shortage. Bring flashlights to inspect the area,” a message from the volunteers is quoted as saying.

Tatyana Magomedova is only 145 cm tall. She left her home in the village of Voronezhskaya in her gray Mazda on August 21. Relatives of the missing woman said that two weeks ago, she ended a relationship with a man that was described as unhealthy. She complained of cruelty and constant restrictions.

According to Magomedova’s father, on August 21, Tatyana went to get meat. She initially maintained contact with her parents by phone, writing that she was driving home. Then the phone was turned off.

Surveillance cameras 10 km from the missing woman’s home recorded a tall man, approximately 50 years old, near her car. It is presumed he may be connected to Magomedova’s disappearance.

Police have opened a criminal case regarding the disappearance of Tatyana Magomedova. They are searching for Oleg Kovalenko, born in 1974.

The search area for ‘Thumbelina’ was expanded on August 26 to include the village of Kirpilskaya, which is 30 km from the presumed location of her disappearance.
