The incident occurred on the evening of August 9 at the Korenovsk station of the North Caucasus Railway.

According to preliminary reports, the teenager attempted to climb onto the roof of an electric train car and suffered an electric shock. The victim was hospitalized with body burns.

Investigators from the Krasnodar Transport Investigative Department are conducting a preliminary inquiry into potential violations of railway safety and operation rules.

They examined the scene, interviewed witnesses, and ordered necessary expert examinations. All circumstances, causes, and conditions of the incident are being determined.
