The cafe “Amursky Dvorik” has begun to be demolished. The establishment had been abandoned for almost 4 years – it last served customers in the autumn of 2021. The structure was later declared illegal and ordered to be demolished, but the owner went bankrupt and was unable to carry out the demolition independently.
This spring, the property was put up for auction by the bankruptcy trustee. The buyer was offered to purchase the cafe for 13.5 million rubles on the condition that they would demolish the structure and keep the remaining building materials for their own use. However, no one was found willing to buy “Amursky Dvorik”.
– The auction was declared unsuccessful. Not a single application for participation was submitted, – the protocol states.
Nevertheless, the cafe had to be demolished sooner or later by court order, and that moment has arrived. Recently, residents noticed workers there who had begun to slowly dismantle the wooden structure.
– It looks like the cafe “Amursky Dvorik” on the embankment is being demolished. Is there really nothing that can be done to save it? – residents ask on social media.
The regional government confirmed that the cafe is indeed being demolished – the work is being carried out by the owner himself, represented by the bankruptcy trustee. It is not possible to preserve the establishment on the embankment. What will happen next in its place remains a mystery for now.
– In the future, the land plot will be put into economic circulation, – stated the regional government.
After the famous establishment on the embankment closed, the promenade area was left without any permanent cafes where one could have a proper lunch or dinner. Residents can only buy quick-prep food like hot dogs or shawarma from kiosks. Whether a new establishment will appear in the near future was addressed by the regional government.
