Ceremonial assemblies dedicated to the start of the new school year were held in all educational institutions of Khabarovsk. Today, the first bells rang for students of 368 schools in the region. In total, 154 thousand students sat at their desks on this day, including almost 15 thousand first-graders. Five thousand future graduates moved into the 11th grade this year.
Schoolchildren dressed up in beautiful uniforms, armed themselves with briefcases and bouquets, and girls tied white bows and ribbons. Everyone was ready for the start of the school year. City and regional leaders attended the assembly at the “Discovery” school.
It is worth recalling that the Ministry of Education has introduced new rules for schools. Starting September 1, the school day will last from 8:00 to 19:00. Zero lessons and third shifts are prohibited. Students in grades 5-9 and children with disabilities will study only during the first shift.
