DAVAO CITY – Police operatives in the Davao Region arrested seven suspects and seized PHP3.9 million worth of illegal drugs in nine operations conducted from Sunday to Monday.

The Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) reported that the anti-illegal drug operations resulted in the seizure of 577.5 grams of shabu and 10 grams of marijuana.

PRO-11 remains firm in its campaign to rid the region of illegal drugs and criminal elements.

The one-day success builds on last month’s intensive anti-illegal drug campaign, which resulted in the seizure of more than PHP18.6 million worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of 369 suspects across the Davao Region.

The September crackdown involved a total of 313 law enforcement operations, including 212 buy-bust operations, 40 services of warrants of arrest, and various checkpoint activities.

The campaign’s focus on high-level targets resulted in the arrest of 76 high-value individuals (HVIs) and 293 street-level individuals (SLIs). One suspect died during the conduct of operations.

These sustained operations demonstrate the unwavering commitment of PRO-11 to pursue drug personalities and stop their illegal activities. These arrests highlight the effective law enforcement efforts of PRO-11 in curbing both street-level distribution and higher-level drug operations in the region.
