On June 3, the security investigation agency completed the supplementary investigation of the criminal case of gambling occurring in Hanoi and other provinces and cities in the form of electronic games with prizes at the Overseas Vietnamese Business Club – Hanoi Branch (also known as King Club, at the first floor, Pullman Hotel, Dong Da district, Hanoi).

The security investigation agency has transferred the files to the Supreme People’s Procuracy to propose prosecution of 141 suspects, including proposing the prosecution of 5 people for organizing gambling and 136 people for gambling.

The suspects proposed for prosecution include three South Koreans, a former vice chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, and a former secretary of Hoa Binh City Party Committee.
