The “Everyone’s Sports Festival” will be held for the first time on September 20 at Yokohama Shimizugaoka Park (Shimizugaoka, Minami-ku, Yokohama).
The park is a sports park developed on the former site of Yokohama National University, featuring a gymnasium, indoor heated pool, baseball field, tennis courts, and more within its approximately 9.5-hectare grounds.
“Everyone’s Sports Festival 2025” is an interactive event held in collaboration with the professional baseball team “Yokohama DeNA BayStars,” the professional soccer club “Yokohama FC,” and the professional basketball team “Yokohama Excellence,” all of which call Yokohama their home town.
The event will feature many experience corners, including the Yokohama DeNA BayStars’ original experience program “B-PARK” for children who have never played baseball, Yokohama FC soccer clinics, inclusive sports experiences such as boccia and molkky that can be enjoyed regardless of age or gender, and sports wheelchair experiences.
Additionally, “Everyone’s Marche,” a market featuring Yokohama’s gourmet foods, will be held in the multipurpose plaza. It will bring together local delicacies such as bread and sweets from local bakeries, and local vegetables grown in Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama City.
The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine.
