In the case of a teachers’ group sharing secretly filmed images of a girl, authorities announced on the 9th the re-arrest of a male elementary school teacher (34) from Asaka City, who was previously indicted on charges including child prostitution and related violations. He is suspected of secretly filming two girls in a hotel bathhouse, leading to new charges of violating the relevant law and the Act on Punishment of Sexual Acts with Children. This marks his fourth arrest. He reportedly admitted to the allegations, stating, “I believe it’s true.”
According to the police, the man secretly filmed one girl naked with a camera in the men’s bath area of a hotel in Chiba Prefecture in April 2023. In April 2024, he is suspected of secretly filming another girl in the men’s bath area and changing room of the same hotel, thereby producing child pornography.
The suspicions came to light through the analysis of seized materials. The girls are believed to have been accompanied by other adults. The Aichi Prefectural Police determined the girls were under 18 based on a doctor’s age estimation.
Out of consideration for the victims, the suspect’s name has been anonymized in the digital version.
