University students and people with disabilities strengthen connections as campus cafe reopens under new management by a local social welfare organization.

The Hokusei Gakuen University (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) campus cafe “NORTH STAR CAFE Sarah” has reopened after renovation. In addition to a renewed menu and interior, the cafe is now operated by the social welfare corporation Yuuyuu (Tobetsu-cho, Ishikari district) to serve as a space encouraging interaction between students and people with disabilities.
