Hokkaido Poracon (Sapporo), a manufacturer and seller of concrete products, has decided to build a factory in Mongolia to produce concrete drainage pipes and blocks. The company will establish a joint venture with a local construction firm within the year, aiming initially to produce around 2,000 tons of concrete products annually. The total investment is expected to be approximately 50 million yen. Seeing Mongolia, with its growing population, as a promising market for the future, the company is moving forward with this expansion.
