A man in his 70s from Kiyota Ward, Sapporo, reported to the Toyohira Police Station on the 19th that he was deceived into investing through a social networking site (SNS) and defrauded of approximately 11.7 million yen in cash. The police are investigating the case as an SNS-based investment fraud.
