A symposium was held to mark one year since the enactment of the “Support for Women in Difficult Situations Act,” which assists women facing challenges such as domestic violence (DV) and financial hardship. Representatives from the national government, Hokkaido prefecture, Sapporo city, and private support organizations participated, exchanging views on the issues.
