“Osaka Municipal Umeka Junior High School Band Performs at Hotel Universal Port’s 20th Anniversary Concert on July 12”
We had the special opportunity to visit on July 12, 2025!
According to the staff, ‘Hotel Universal Port’ will celebrate its 20th anniversary on July 15, 2025. To honor its connection with the local community, the hotel invited the Osaka Municipal Umeka Junior High School Wind Orchestra to perform a commemorative concert.
The first performance venue was located on the first floor of ‘Hotel Universal Port’.
A special performance space was set up inside the venue.The venue quickly filled with many attendees as soon as the performance began.The performers showcased solos and ensembles featuring popular anime songs, Japanese pop classics, world-famous melodies, and tracks related to ‘Universal Studios Japan’.
The second performance venue was located on the second floor of ‘Hotel Universal Port’.
A dedicated performance space was also set up here.
As the performance began, diners at ‘PORT DINING ricorico’ paused their meals to watch or moved closer to listen, making it a major attraction.
Here, the performers played medleys of famous Hollywood movie soundtracks and popular artist compilations.
The concert concluded with enthusiastic applause and cheers, making it a grand success!

On July 12 and 13, 2025, an event was held at the ‘Osaka Bay Tower 2F Atrium Plaza’ in Minato Ward, Osaka City. We had the special chance to visit on the second day, July 13!
The ’11th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower’ is an event where sake breweries from across Japan gather, allowing attendees to sample various Japanese sake and other traditional alcohols using special cups.
After purchasing a “Tasting Pass” in advance and completing registration at the venue, attendees received a pamphlet, a 500ml bottle of water, a special cup, and a fan.
According to the staff, the fan was a summer-limited bonus.
On this day, the popular mascot character Chii-tan☆ made a special appearance to cheer everyone on!
