A Saudi prince, known as the “Sleeping Prince,” who had been in a coma for 20 years following a car accident, has passed away. According to reports, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Saud died on the 19th at the age of 36. In 2005, while studying at a military academy in London, the prince was involved in a car accident that caused a brain hemorrhage, leaving him in a coma. His father never gave up hope for his recovery, and the prince remained on life support for over 20 years at a hospital in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Images of him in his hospital bed were shared on social media, earning him the nickname “Sleeping Prince.” His funeral is scheduled to take place on the 20th.
