Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Shows Social Care for Residents During Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office demonstrated its social care for surrounding residents during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah celebration.

Through a program called “InJourney Airports Berbagi,” the airport distributed a total of 18 cows.

This step was taken as a form of the company’s real commitment to providing sustainable social benefits, while also strengthening harmonious relationships with communities living around the airport area.

The dozens of sacrificial animals were distributed directly to several mosques and prayer rooms spread across the Tangerang City and Regency areas.

“Through the InJourney Airports Berbagi Program, we want to ensure that the presence of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport not only acts as a hub for national and international connectivity, but also provides real benefits to the surrounding community,” said the General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Friday, May 29, 2026.

To ensure the benefits are widely felt and targeted, the sacrificial animal aid was distributed to various urban villages and villages around the airport.

The following areas received the distribution of 18 cows:

-Tangerang City

Benda, Pajang, Belendung, Poris Gaga, Selapajang Jaya, Kedaung Baru, Mekarsari, Neglasari, and Batu Jaya urban villages.

-Tangerang Regency

Dadap, Rawa Burung, Bojong Renged, and Rawa Rengas villages.

The aid was handed over through local religious institutions to ensure the distribution of sacrificial meat to residents went smoothly.

Some of the places of worship that received this aid include Baiturrohim Mosque, Al Istiqomah Mosque, Nurul Jihad Mosque, Al-Barkah Mosque, Jami’ As Salam Mosque, Jami’ Baiturrohim Mosque, Jami’ Nurul Iman Mosque, Riyadus Solihin Mosque, Attaqwa Mosque, Al Muhajiri Mosque, Darul Muttaqin Prayer Room, Nuruttaqwa Prayer Room, Nurul Huda Prayer Room, and Riyadul Fatwa Prayer Room.

Sustainable Commitment Through the TJSL Program

The InJourney Airports Berbagi program is part of the implementation of the Social and Environmental Responsibility program, which is carried out consistently and sustainably.

The management hopes this social action can support community welfare and strengthen good synergy between the airport operator and local stakeholders.

“We hope this program will further strengthen the harmonious relationship between the company and the surrounding environment so that we can grow and develop together,” concluded the statement.
