The North Nias Regent, Amizaro Waruwu, has sent a letter to the Sales Area Manager of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut requesting an increase in the quota for 3 kg LPG cylinders.

“To address the shortage of 3 kg LPG cylinders in North Nias Regency and to meet the community’s needs for the next three months, especially ahead of Christmas, we have written to Pertamina to request an increase in the 3 kg LPG cylinder quota,” said Amizaro Waruwu at the North Nias Regent’s Office on Jalan Gowe Zalawa Fadoro Fulolo, Lotu.

In the letter, the Regent also requested a quota increase for 2026, considering the significant rise in demand.

This action was taken in response to numerous complaints from residents who are having difficulty obtaining subsidized 3 kg gas for daily use.

Regent Amizaro asked residents to be patient and use LPG cylinders wisely while waiting for the additional LPG supply quota from Pertamina.
