In the midst of an increasingly digital and connected life, Telkomsel believes the best technology is not just about sophistication, but how technology understands, helps, and is closer to people. Entering its 31st year, Telkomsel reaffirms the spirit of “Serving with All Heart” as a commitment to delivering a more personal, relevant, and meaningful experience for the people of Indonesia, while expressing appreciation for the ever-strengthening customer trust.

The President Director of Telkomsel said that at this 31st anniversary, they are very grateful for the customer trust that has allowed Telkomsel to continue developing as a leader in the digital telecommunications industry in Indonesia.

“This achievement is the result of contributions, dedication, and collaboration from various parties. We also continue to reflect and encourage innovation so that the services provided become more relevant and provide real benefits. In the era of digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), a customer-centric approach with empathy is key, so that every solution can bring convenience, a sense of security, and support in customers’ daily lives,” he said.

Over 31 years of serving Indonesia, Telkomsel has grown with the community through various important phases, starting from kartuHalo (1995) and simPATI (1997), to presenting 3G, 4G/LTE, and Hyper 5G. This journey reflects Telkomsel’s ability to adapt while strengthening its role in building an integrated digital ecosystem with various partners.

This transformation is strengthened through the development of broadband and 5G, the MyTelkomsel Super App, and the integration of IndiHome B2C. In the last decade, Telkomsel has also utilized AI to improve service quality through the Autonomous Network and Virtual Assistant Veronika, which accelerates response times and delivers a more personal experience.

Through collaboration with INA AI, Telkomsel presents Sacred Octagon in MyTelkomsel as an interactive and relevant AI-based learning solution for Indonesian families.

This experience is supported by a 5G network reaching more than 107 cities/districts with over 6,380 5G BTS, including contiguous 5G in 36 cities/districts. Sustainability commitments are carried out through Green BTS, with more than 360 BTS using renewable energy and electronic waste management through reuse and recycling.

Complementing these efforts, Telkomsel, through CSR programs such as NextDev, an incubation program for digital startup ecosystems, has supported thousands of talents while strengthening the digital innovation ecosystem. This commitment is also realized in maintaining connectivity during crises, including through accelerated network recovery after hydrometeorological disasters in Sumatra at the end of 2025, so that people remain connected in difficult situations.

Based on an independent socio-economic study by PT LAPI ITB (2024–2025), Telkomsel contributed Rp36.972 trillion through spectrum PNBP, BHP USO & Jastel, taxes, and dividends. The Telkomsel ecosystem is also estimated to contribute to the creation of more than 685 thousand direct and indirect jobs. All these achievements are inseparable from customer trust and the support of the ecosystem that continues to grow with Telkomsel.

Telkomsel also continues to expand service coverage to underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas through various connectivity initiatives as part of the commitment to equitable digital access. This shows that connectivity development is not solely driven by commercial considerations, but also by a national mission to provide inclusive digital access for all Indonesian people.

With a focus on CX Excellence and the principle of Customer Experience is Everything, Telkomsel ensures services are present when needed and provide a sense of security. This commitment is also strengthened by various global awards for network and service quality, including GSMA Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards, World Communication Awards, Global Telecom Awards, Opensignal Mobile Network Experience Awards, Ookla Speedtest Awards, and Gartner Marketing & Communications Awards.

As part of the 31st anniversary celebration, Telkomsel presents a special “Surprise Deal” program for SIMPATI customers with two main packages: 31 GB for 3 days at Rp31 thousand and 500 GB
