Young rider from the Yamaha Racing Indonesia program, Aldi Satya Mahendra, is ready to continue his journey in the 2026 World Supersport championship at round 7, which will take place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy, from June 12-14. Aldi arrives with high motivation to secure important points again and maintain a competitive performance.
The rider, who is part of the AS BLU CRU Racing Team, aims for a top 5 finish in this weekend’s races. He has shown positive progress by breaking into the top 5 race results in the last two rounds at Autodrom Most and Aragon. Consistent accumulation of significant points also indicates his increasingly sharp skills in facing world-level competition.
Misano holds sweet memories for Aldi Satya Mahendra in his international career journey. He hopes to use his previous experience to be competitive from free practice sessions through to the races. At the Misano track, Aldi Satya Mahendra once won a race and secured a podium with 3rd place in the R3 BLU CRU World 2023, then won a race and achieved 2nd place in the World Supersport 300 2024, and also finished 13th in World Supersport 2025.
“Preparation with the team has been going well, I am very motivated to get into the top 5 of the race again and also take points. Racing at Misano is always challenging, and I want to respond by achieving the target. I want to bring out the best performance and stay confident competing with other riders,” said Aldi Satya Mahendra.
Riding the Yamaha R9, the rider from Yogyakarta is committed to maintaining the positive trend this season. He has collected 75 points, placing him 12th in the provisional standings. There is still an opportunity to break into the top 10.
“In his second year competing in World Supersport, Aldi Satya Mahendra continues to grow with well-honed skills and increased experience. This progress helps him compete at the world level, which features very intense competition.
