Azad Maidan
Azad Maidan is a historic public ground in South Mumbai, India, originally established in the 18th century. Its name, meaning “Free Maidan,” stems from its role as a traditional site for public gatherings, political rallies, and protests, particularly during the Indian independence movement.
Lalbaag’s Raja
“Lalbaug’s Raja” refers to the famous Ganesh idol worshipped at the Lalbaug area of Mumbai, India. It was established in 1934 by local fishermen and factory workers who prayed for their wishes to be fulfilled. Today, it is one of the most popular and iconic public Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, attracting millions of devotees annually.
Gaya
Gaya was a confederacy of several small kingdoms that existed in the southern Korean Peninsula from around the 1st to the 6th century AD. It was a significant iron-producing and trading power but was eventually absorbed by its more powerful neighbor, the Silla Kingdom. The Gaya Tumuli, a collection of burial mounds from this period, was recently inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Yamuna is one of India’s most sacred rivers, originating from the Yamunotri Glacier in the Himalayas. It holds immense religious significance in Hinduism as the daughter of the Sun God and the sister of Yama, the god of death, and its banks are home to key pilgrimage sites like Mathura and Vrindavan.
Gurugram
Gurugram is a major financial and technology hub located in the Indian state of Haryana, immediately southwest of New Delhi. Historically, the city is believed to be the home of the Guru Dronacharya, a revered teacher from the Hindu epic the Mahabharata, from which its name is derived. It has rapidly transformed from a sleepy agricultural town into a modern metropolis, hosting numerous multinational corporations and large shopping malls.
