Jishan Akhtar, the mastermind and second accused in Baba Siddiqui’s murder, has confessed that he was the one who orchestrated the killing. Jishan stated that this murder was not for money but was committed over a fraternal dispute. He claimed that he never went to Mumbai. Additionally, Jishan claimed to have separated from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and revealed that Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti helped him escape from India.
