His father’s name is Sachin Tendulkar. It is very natural for the son of a legendary cricketer to face pressure. Arjun Tendulkar could not reach those heights. He is criticized repeatedly. Yet, Sachin’s son is not afraid of criticism. He works hard regularly. He moves forward with love for cricket. In the current IPL, Arjun had to sit on the bench for the first 13 matches from the start. While on the bench, he watched his team lose one match after another. He also took a wicket with precise yorkers. At the end of the day, he bowled 4 overs, giving 36 runs and taking one wicket.
Overwhelmed by his son’s performance, a proud Sachin posted on social media. The God of Cricket said that his son loves cricket while keeping his feet on the ground. Sachin’s daughter Sara Tendulkar was also emotional seeing her younger brother’s performance. She wrote on Instagram, ‘My brother can conquer the whole world. The way you handled the pressure, worked hard, and showed patience, I am proud of you. Love you so much, now a little more.’
In this year’s IPL, Sanjiv Goenka’s team bought Arjun for 30 lakh rupees. Arjun was with Mumbai Indians from 2021 to 2025. This year, he joined Lucknow. Sara was seen in the stands for many of the team’s matches. Even though her brother did not get a place in the playing eleven, Sachin’s daughter cheered loudly for her brother’s team.
