The Modi-Xi meeting failed to address substantive issues.
Hyderabad – AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi alleged on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping failed to answer the crucial questions that Indians were seeking.
MP Owaisi from Hyderabad said in a post on X, “Today’s meeting of India’s Prime Minister with the Chinese President failed to answer the crucial questions that Indians were looking for.”
Topping this list is China’s support to Pakistan during Operation Sindhu and the expansion of CPEC in Afghanistan. We haven’t heard a word about China sharing hydrological river data. Owaisi stated that the border situation in Ladakh is such that our brave soldiers cannot patrol in the buffer zone and our shepherds have been denied access to many areas since 2020.

Owaisi claimed that China has made no promise about resuming the supply of rare earths and other critical items, nor has it said it will import more goods from India. The AIMIM chief said, “These issues matter to Indians, not photo opportunities, jacket colors, or carpet lengths. Sadly, the Modi-Xi meeting failed to produce any solutions on substantive issues.”
