Hyderabad: As part of the nationwide Sardar 150 Unity March marking the 150th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a district-level walkathon was organized today from Charminar by the My Bharat Hyderabad Center. The walk began at Charminar and concluded at the Bhagat Singh statue near Muslim Jung Bridge. Over 700 participants from various institutions enthusiastically took part in the approximately four-kilometer walk.

Addressing the event, the chief guest emphasized the importance of Sardar Patel’s vision for national unity and integrity. Appreciating the spirit of youth participation, he encouraged them to uphold the values of unity, discipline, and service. Youth should draw inspiration from values such as national integrity, unity, and constitutional commitment.

Future Generations Will Draw Inspiration from the History of a Great Personality

Mentioning the invaluable contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, he stated that it is because of him that the people of Hyderabad are living a free life today. Therefore, we should not only pay tribute to him with gratitude but also ensure that the history of such a great personality inspires future generations. He said that inspired by Sardar Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat initiative to strengthen India’s unity. He stated that India’s journey, from the making of our constitution to strengthening national unity, will advance as the world’s largest democratic country.
