Speaking at the Madras High Court in Tamil Nadu, Justice CV Karthikeyan said that as far as this point is concerned, he also agrees with the reasoning of Justice D. Bharatha Chakravarthy.
Habeas corpus petition
He said that once the action of arrest and remand is proven valid according to the law, the justification for a habeas corpus petition ceases to exist. Justice Karthikeyan said that he also agrees with Justice Bharatha Chakravarthy on this point.
