A New Era in Business and Education Begins with the Confluence of Chemical-Pharma, Smart Education, Business Expo, and Surat Startup Summit

The Chamber of Commerce set a unique historic record by organizing a record-breaking 22 exhibitions in a single year.

The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized 4 historic events simultaneously, including 3 mega expos and the ‘Surat Startup Summit’. These events were held at the International Exhibition and Convention Center (SIECC) in Sarsana. This three-day ‘Maha Kumbh’ concluded today with grand success.

The event was held daily from Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with major support from the reputed organization TORIN Wealth Management. The event received an unprecedented response from Surat and the entire South Gujarat region. Over the three days, a total of more than 16,350 business visitors, entrepreneurs, parents, and students observed these exhibitions.

Director and Chairman of TORIN Wealth Management, Jignesh Madhvani, expressed happiness and praised the Chamber team for organizing 4 events simultaneously. On the successful conclusion of the expo, Chamber President Nikhil Madrasi and Vice President and President-elect Ashok Jirawala expressed great optimism and said, “The seed sown today with the Chemical and Pharma Expo will grow into a massive banyan tree in the future. We firmly believe that in the coming days, separate, independent, and autonomous expos will be organized for these two sectors. Additionally, the Smart Education Expo must have been extremely helpful for thousands of students and parents in shaping their future careers and obtaining proper guidance; meanwhile, the Surat Startup Summit has planted strong seeds of innovation and new entrepreneurship among the youth of this region, which will transform the economic landscape of Surat in the future.” On the very first day of the summit, the chief guest and Chairman of CHEMEXCIL, Satish Wagh, gave a big gift to the industrialists of South Gujarat by announcing the inauguration of Chemexcil’s high-tech office in Surat.

Key Highlights of the 4 Events Organized:

1. Chemical & Pharma Expo 2026: This expo, organized by Chemexcil and the Chamber, received support from the Gujarat government’s indextb, as well as Acutas Chemicals, Ather Industry, Anupam Rasayan, HLE Glasscoat, and Yashasvi Rasayan. It featured manufacturers of specialty, industrial, agro, and fine chemicals, API and bulk drug manufacturers, as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers, along with leading manufacturers of laboratory equipment and process machinery, showcasing their latest technology and securing major business opportunities.

2. Smart Education Expo 2026: This expo, organized with major support from TORIN Wealth Management, saw participation from national and international universities, renowned schools, and prestigious colleges. The expo became an excellent hub for students in grades 10-12 and college, graduates, and parents to discover smart educational options and career paths.

3. Surat Startup Summit 2026 (3rd Edition): This major platform for startups, investors, incubators, and technology experts from across the country received support from AIC SURATI iLAB Foundation and TiE Surat. High-potential startups got a great opportunity to secure funding and business recognition by directly pitching their plans to angel investors and venture capitalists.

4. SGCCI Business Connect (SBC) Business Expo 2026: By bringing together leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, and corporate professionals from various sectors on a single platform, this expo has taken business networking, strategic partnerships, and business development to new heights.

International Exhibition and Convention Center (SIECC)

The International Exhibition and Convention Center (SIECC) is a major venue located in Shanghai, China, known for hosting large-scale trade fairs, conventions, and cultural events. Sarsana

Sarsana is a village in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, known for its historical significance as the birthplace of the prominent 17th-century saint and poet, Sant Kabir Das. It is believed to be the site where Kabir was raised by a Muslim weaver family, and his teachings continue to influence spiritual and cultural traditions in the region. Chemexcil
