Devotees Rejoiced in Melodious Hymns, Event Concluded with Cow Worship and Offering of Sweet Porridge

A program of cow devotee gathering, cow darshan, and community feast was organized with joy and devotion on Sunday at Shri Somolai Hanuman Gaushala, located in Gay Pagla, Dhoran Pardi village, near Torrent Power. Organized on the occasion of Purushottam month, about 250 cow devotees from the city and various regions participated, benefiting from cow service and worship.

The event was specially organized with the cooperation of cow servants to offer cow darshan, a gathering, a community feast, and sweet porridge offering to the mother cow in honor of Purushottam month. The gaushala, located about 28 kilometers from the city, saw a large number of devotees in attendance.

During the program, hymn singer Ajit Dadhich presented several devotional songs including “Jal Jamuna Ko Pani Kiya Lau O Rasiya” and “Mitha Ras Se Bharedi Radha Rani.” Hymns based on the glory of the mother cow moved the devotees emotionally. To the sweet melodies of the hymns, women and cow devotees enthusiastically danced, enjoying the essence of devotion.

The president of the organization highlighted the importance of cow service by providing information about the development works and daily activities conducted at the gaushala. The treasurer welcomed the visiting guests and honored them by presenting a symbol of the mother cow. Following this, a collective aarti of the mother cow was performed, and sweet porridge was offered as prasad. After the aarti, all devotees partook of the sacred offering.

Special participants in the program included Jayprakash Shah, Umesh Agrawal, Raghuvir Singh, Kiranji, Prakashji, Nainaram, Vikeshji, and Damodarji from Mumbai, along with sisters from the Mansarovar Majisa Women’s Group and a large number of cow devotees. The event concluded in an atmosphere of faith, service, and cow devotion.
