New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Congress party and its allies of celebrating the denial of 33 percent reservation rights to women, exposing their true face.

During a press conference at the BJP headquarters, it was stated that the Congress and its supporting parties are rejoicing that women who were demanding 33 percent reservation have been deprived of that right. It was emphasized that women will remember every pain inflicted upon them.

It was remarked that Congress mocked the BJP by suggesting some of its members were trying to act as messiahs. This reflects a feudal mindset, where granting constitutional rights in a democracy is seen as an act of a messiah.

Women will remember that during the six decades of Congress rule, 11 crore women were deprived of toilets. Triple talaq remained a curse. Women will also recall that 25 crore women received no help from the Congress government to open bank accounts. During Congress’s tenure, over 10 crore women did not benefit from schemes like Ayushman Bharat.

It was also noted that women will remember that the bill for 33 percent reservation was passed under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.

“I am shocked that Congress said they support the bill passed in 2023, but they do not trust the delimitation process. Congress has exposed its cruel face to the nation,” a statement read.

Criticizing Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, it was said that from the Congress platform, a female MP claimed women were being used. “Are women a subject of use? What kind of language is this? In a country where women are revered as Durga, Kali, Saraswati, and mother, they are being called objects of use. It is because of this mindset that bills were torn up during the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) era.”

“I do not believe Congress does not understand the Constitution. They understand it, but deliberately pretend not to,” it was added. It was stated that the reorganization of assembly or Lok Sabha seats cannot happen without delimitation, which is based on population.

This building serves as the central office for one of India’s two major political parties, which was formally established in 1980 but traces its ideological roots to the earlier Bharatiya Jana Sangh (founded in 1951). The site is a key hub for the party’s political strategy, media relations, and organizational activities, reflecting its evolution from a opposition party to a dominant force in Indian politics.

Durga

Durga is a major Hindu goddess, revered as the divine mother and a warrior deity who embodies strength and protection. Her mythology is most famously recounted in the *Devi Mahatmya*, where she defeats the buffalo demon Mahishasura after the gods combined their powers to create her. The annual festival of Durga Puja, especially prominent in West Bengal, India, celebrates her victory with grand rituals and artistic displays.

Kali

Kali is a significant Hindu goddess associated with time, change, and destruction, often revered as a powerful and protective mother figure. Her history traces back to ancient Indian texts like the *Devi Mahatmya* (c. 5th-6th century CE), where she emerges as a fierce warrior goddess who defeats demons to restore cosmic order. Worshipped widely across India, especially in Bengal and Assam, Kali symbolizes the transformative power of time and the destruction of evil.

Saraswati

Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, art, wisdom, and learning, revered as a key figure in the Vedic tradition. Historically, she is also associated with the ancient, now-lost Saraswati River mentioned in the Rigveda, which is believed to have flowed through northwestern India. Today, she is widely worshipped during the spring festival of Vasant Panchami, where students and artists seek her blessings for success in their pursuits.
