Commerce and Industry Minister discussed measures to strengthen economic relations between the two countries with his Canadian counterpart on Saturday.
The minister posted on X, “We discussed ways to find mutually beneficial opportunities for our businesses.”
He further stated, “I emphasized that economic, trade, and investment relations between India and Canada should be based on principles of mutual respect, trust, and balance.”
Canada’s International Trade Minister posted that he discussed strengthening economic engagement and increasing connectivity between the two countries with India’s Commerce and Industry Minister.
He said, “Together we are exploring new trade opportunities in clean technology, artificial intelligence, agriculture, critical minerals, and other key sectors.”
