Floods have caused massive devastation in many parts of the country, and film stars are now stepping forward to help the affected people. In this series, actress Bhumi Pednekar has launched a special initiative. She announced the launch of a campaign to assist flood victims.
Bhumi shared a video on her Instagram account where she explained about this campaign. She said, “We have jointly started a special campaign.
Our aim is to help the flood-affected people in all those states where floods have caused significant damage. I personally visited the flood-affected areas in Jammu, while another person reached the flood-hit regions in Maharashtra. Floods have disrupted people’s lives in states like Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Assam, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra.”
She further stated, “Our goal is to provide flood victims with the supplies they need. Under this campaign, we will provide tents, assistance in building homes, children’s education, and other essential items. We want the affected people to be able to restart their lives.”
Actress Bhumi Pednekar wrote an emotional message in the caption of her video, “India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. If we truly believe this, then let’s come together to help those who are battling the tragedy of the floods.”
This initiative by Bhumi is receiving strong support from her fans and the general public. They are giving various reactions in the comment section. Regarding her work front, actress Bhumi Pednekar’s recent release was the Netflix series ‘The Royals’, in which she appeared alongside Ishaan Khatter. Additionally, she has jointly launched a premium water brand called Backbe with her sister, which is a business venture.
