Promoting Da Nang Tourism at Tourism Japan Expo 2025
From September 25 to 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City will organize the Da Nang FantastiCity booth at the Tourism Japan Expo 2025 international tourism fair in Aichi, Japan.
Tourism Japan Expo 2025 is one of the world’s largest tourism fairs.
The event focuses on B2B exchange between domestic and international tourism businesses, with 550 booths from over 80 countries, and is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors over four days.
This is the second consecutive time Da Nang has participated in this fair to promote the potential and strengths of the new Da Nang city tourism to the Japanese market – one of the top 10 international tourist markets for Da Nang recently.
The Da Nang FantastiCity booth covers an area of 36m² with the theme: « New Da Nang, New Experiences, » located at position F-083 in the Asian destinations area, adjacent to the tourism booths of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc.
The Da Nang booth is accompanied by Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company, Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa Hotel, and Bel Group. In addition to the Danang Fantasticity booth, Vietnam also has booths from two airlines: Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air.
Within the framework of the fair, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Da Nang tourism businesses held meetings and working sessions with partners.
The Da Nang FantastiCity booth offers visitors many exciting experiences. In the Ao Dai check-in area, visitors can wear traditional Vietnamese costumes and take souvenir photos in a space rich in identity, combined with characteristic local conical hats and hand fans.
Additionally, the « Wheel of Fortune » area adds a lively highlight, where visitors have the chance to receive souvenirs associated with the Da Nang tourism brand. Impressive gifts attracting a large number of visitors include: wooden models of Da Nang landmarks, lanterns, local specialties, and brand identity product sets (teddy bears, hand fans, notebooks…).

« Da Nang FantastiCity » is a proposed large-scale entertainment and tourism complex in Da Nang, Vietnam. Its history is part of Japan’s ongoing strategy to boost international tourism following events like the postponed 2020 Olympics.
Da Nang International Airport
Da Nang International Airport is a major aviation hub in central Vietnam. Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa Hotel
The Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa is a modern luxury hotel and spa complex in Da Nang, Vietnam, designed to offer an authentic Japanese onsen (hot spring) experience.
