The National Meteorological Center has revealed the expected weather conditions for today, Friday, in the Kingdom, warning of hot weather in the Eastern region and Medina, along with rain in 4 areas.

According to the meteorological report, there is still a chance of moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, and Makkah regions.

Meanwhile, the weather will be hot to extremely hot in parts of the Eastern region and Medina.

The formation of thunderclouds accompanied by active winds is also possible in some parts of the Riyadh and Najran regions.

Red Sea

  • Surface winds: Northwesterly to northerly at 20-40 km/h, reaching 50 km/h in the northern part. Northwesterly at 15-35 km/h, reaching 50 km/h in the southern part.
  • Wave height: 1 to 2 meters in the northern part and 1 to 1.5 meters in the southern part.
  • Sea condition: Moderate waves, becoming rough in the northern part, and moderate waves in the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

  • Surface winds: Southeasterly to easterly at 8-28 km/h.
  • Wave height: 0.5 to 1 meter.
  • Sea condition: Slight waves.

Medina
