On August 15, visitors toured the Western Yunnan War of Resistance Memorial Hall.

After over four months of renovations, the memorial hall reopened to the public. Located in Tengchong City, Yunnan Province, the Western Yunnan War of Resistance Memorial Hall covers an area of 53,300 square meters and serves multiple functions, including exhibitions, collections, research, commemoration, and public education. It officially opened on August 15, 2013, and has been free to the public ever since. Over the past 12 years, it has welcomed over 1.4 million visitors annually. The renovated memorial hall has expanded its exhibition space and increased the number of artifacts on display. The exhibits primarily feature wartime relics, supplemented by photographs, documents, video materials, and reconstructed scenes, showcasing over 28,000 artifacts and more than 1,000 photographs.

The Western Yunnan War of Resistance Memorial Hall, located in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, commemorates the Chinese resistance against Japanese forces during World War II. It honors the sacrifices of soldiers and civilians in the Burma Campaign and the pivotal battles fought in western Yunnan. The memorial features historical exhibits, artifacts, and tributes to the Allied efforts in the China-Burma-India Theater.
