Jiefang Road
Jiefang Road is a major thoroughfare in many Chinese cities, most notably in Shanghai, where it was historically known as the Bund’s Avenue Edward VII during the colonial era. Following the Communist victory in 1949, it was renamed “Jiefang” (解放), meaning “Liberation,” to commemorate this event. Today, it is a prominent commercial and transportation artery that reflects the city’s colonial past and its modern development.
Kasha Theme Hotel
The Kasha Theme Hotel is a modern hospitality concept that blends themed accommodations with cultural immersion, often drawing inspiration from local history or folklore. While it does not have a long historical legacy itself, such hotels are designed to offer guests a narrative-driven experience, sometimes set within or near culturally significant locations.
