In July 2025, the national government issued the “Implementation Plan for the Child-Rearing Subsidy System,” which clearly stipulates a subsidy of 3,600 yuan per year for each child under the age of 3. As of December 31, 2025, more than 24 million people across the country have received the child-rearing subsidy.
According to work arrangements, the 2026 child-rearing subsidy application will be open. From January 1 to 4, 2026, the child-rearing subsidy information management system will be upgraded and tested, and the application will be fully open from January 5.
Eligible parents can apply through the child-rearing subsidy mini-program or Alipay app, either online or offline.
