Each child receives 3,600 yuan per year. The 2026 child-rearing subsidy will be fully open for application starting January 5.
In July 2025, the state issued the “Implementation Plan for Child-Rearing Subsidy System,” clearly stipulating a subsidy of 3,600 yuan per child per year for children under 3 years old. As of December 31, 2025, over 24 million people nationwide have received the child-rearing subsidy.
According to work arrangements, the 2026 child-rearing subsidy applications will be open. From January 1 to 4, 2026, the child-rearing subsidy information management system will undergo upgrades and testing, and full application acceptance will begin on January 5.
Eligible parents can apply through the child-rearing subsidy mini-program or Alipay app, as well as other online or offline channels.
