The fourth session of the 16th Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress completed all its agenda items and concluded successfully yesterday morning at the Shanghai Expo Center. The closing ceremony was presided over by the city’s Party secretary. The executive chairpersons of the closing ceremony included several officials.

The fourth session of the 14th Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference completed all its agenda items and concluded successfully on the afternoon of February 5 at the Expo Center. The closing ceremony was presided over by the chairman of the Shanghai Committee of the CPPCC. Vice chairpersons and standing committee members of the Shanghai Committee of the CPPCC were seated on the podium. The city’s Party secretary, the mayor, the chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, and the deputy Party secretary attended the meeting upon invitation.
