In the early hours of February 22, local time, multiple explosions occurred in the city of Lviv, Ukraine, resulting in the death of one police officer and 14 people hospitalized. Witnesses captured footage of the scene with sounds of explosions. The city’s mayor stated this was a terrorist attack. Reports indicate that police responded to a call about a break-in at a store, and the first explosion occurred upon their arrival. A second explosion happened when another group of police officers arrived at the scene. Law enforcement and all relevant emergency services are currently engaged in the response.
