In November 2025, Ukraine’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth accelerated to 5.3%, up from 2.3% in October. Agriculture, domestic trade, construction, and manufacturing were the primary drivers of growth.
The data was released by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
“Despite disruptions to the energy supply of critical infrastructure due to large-scale attacks, the Ukrainian economy continues to grow. Businesses are working to adapt to the challenging situation. At the same time, Ukraine’s growth momentum is stronger than Russia’s. Russia’s real GDP growth in October was 1.6%, while Ukraine’s growth in October and November was 2.3% and 5.3%, respectively,” stated the Minister.
The Ministry noted that economic growth is supported by business recovery and development programs aimed at boosting domestic production and funded by international aid.
According to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine’s real GDP in the third quarter of 2025 increased by 2.1% year-on-year, exceeding the Ministry of Economy’s earlier forecast. Consequently, real GDP growth for the first nine months of the year was 1.3%.
Previously, preliminary estimates from the State Statistics Service indicated that Ukraine’s real GDP grew by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter of 2025.
The draft state budget for 2026, based on macroeconomic forecasts, projects a real GDP growth rate of 2.4%.
