On August 9, the quarterfinal teams for both the men’s and women’s team events in the table tennis competition of the 15th National Games were determined. The knockout stage will begin on August 10, with the women’s team champion being decided on the afternoon of the 11th, followed by the men’s team champion in the evening.

The finals of the table tennis competition for the 15th National Games are being held from August 8 to 14 at the Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center Gymnasium and the Guangzhou Badminton Sports Management Center. Over 300 amateur players from 32 teams across the country are competing for a total of 10 gold medals in team and individual events.

The men’s and women’s team events kicked off first, with 17 teams each participating in the group stage. The teams were divided into four groups for round-robin matches, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarterfinals.
