In November 2025, Ethiopia’s annual inflation rate further decreased to 10.9%, the lowest level since February 2019, down from 11.7% the previous month.
This marks the sixth consecutive month of slowing inflation, primarily due to a deceleration in non-food price increases (11.4% compared to 14.2%).
On the other hand, food price inflation accelerated (10.6% compared to 10.2%).
Consumer prices fell by 1.4% month-on-month in November, following a 2.3% increase the month before.
