Bosnia and Herzegovina’s current account deficit narrowed to 383.2 million BAM in the second quarter of 2025, compared to 410.4 million BAM during the same period last year.

The improvement in the deficit was primarily due to an increase in secondary income surplus from 1,390.4 million BAM in the second quarter of 2024 to 1,406.7 million BAM, as well as a shift from a 2 million BAM deficit to an 82.3 million BAM surplus in primary income.

On the other hand, the goods and services trade gap widened from 1,798.9 million BAM during the same period last year to 1,872.2 million BAM.
