On the morning of April 20, on the campus of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology’s Sanjiang Campus, the “Million Talents Converge in Southern Guangdong” 2026 N-City Joint Spring Recruitment Event (Jiangxi Session)—Jiangmen City’s local specialty recruitment event—was held with great enthusiasm. Chen Wenhao, a master’s student in Materials Science and Engineering, signed a letter of intent with Guangdong Xinhui Technology Co., Ltd., which was actively recruiting. This student, originally from Jiangmen, Guangdong, found his ideal job at a recruitment fair in his hometown. According to statistics, the fair attracted over 600 graduates, collected 469 resumes, achieved 101 employment intentions, and saw 11 on-site signings.
This special recruitment event at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology featured 26 Guangdong companies offering 1,017 positions across fields such as engineering, machinery, electrical, and materials. Salaries generally ranged from 80,000 to 200,000 yuan, with 29 positions offering over 200,000 yuan annually and two positions offering 500,000 to 1 million yuan. The event focused on the university’s strengths in materials, electromechanics, and mechanical engineering, aiming to inject fresh talent into Jiangmen’s manufacturing industry for high-quality development.

“We Came Just for You”
Many participating companies came specifically for Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. Chen Jinghang, HR manager at Oped Servo Motor Energy-Saving System Co., Ltd., sorted through resumes and said, “Ganzhou is close to Jiangmen with convenient transportation. Over the past two years, we’ve hired some Jiangxi University of Science and Technology students who have performed excellently—diligent, eager to learn, and highly cooperative. Their professional skills align perfectly with our development strategy!” They brought mechanical, electrical, and sales positions and collected over 20 high-quality resumes in half a day.
“We came specifically for Jiangxi University of Science and Technology,” said Liang Rongzhao, a recruitment specialist at Guangdong Xinhui Technology Co., Ltd. He noted that a 2024 graduate from the university hired by their company had grown from a junior technician to an engineer. “Jiangxi University of Science and Technology students are hardworking, practical, and their skills match our company’s development needs very well,” Liang praised.
Among the crowd, a familiar face stood out—Xiao Jinrong, a 2025 master’s graduate, now an R&D engineer at Taishan Jinqiao Aluminum Profile Factory Co., Ltd. Returning to his alma mater as a recruiter, he brought over 100 positions. A local of Ganzhou, he has worked in Taishan for nearly a year and has integrated into the community. He strongly promoted job opportunities in Taishan to fellow students: “The company platforms there are good, salaries are above average, and there’s broad development space. Additionally, the Taishan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau provides strong support in talent subsidies and housing benefits.”

Long Yao, a recent master’s graduate from the School of Electromechanical Engineering at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, had a detailed conversation with an HR representative at the booth of Jiangmen Dachangjiang Group Co., Ltd. Studying mechanical engineering, she learned that Dachangjiang primarily manufactures Haojue motorcycles involving many mechanical processes. She expressed eagerness to work there: “The mechanical equipment positions at Dachangjiang are already filled, but the HR recommended I try process or quality positions, which I think suit me. Plus, Guangdong offers more job opportunities, broader development platforms, and is closer to home.”
Long-Term Collaboration Between University and Local Government
During a government-university-enterprise symposium held that morning, the Jiangmen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, along with district-level bureaus from Pengjiang, Heshan, Taishan, and Jianghai, comprehensively promoted local industrial advantages, talent policies, and living environments to the university and graduates.
