The General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi Jinping, recently issued important instructions on promoting high-quality development of philosophy and social sciences. He pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the philosophy and social sciences front has earnestly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, adhered to the “two integrations,” solidly advanced knowledge innovation, theoretical innovation, and methodological innovation, produced a number of valuable research results, and effectively served the overall work of the Party and the state.
