On October 11, Chongqing University held a meeting for faculty and cadres. Comrade Zhang Guangjun, Deputy Minister of the Central Organization Department, attended the meeting to announce the Central Committee’s decision and delivered a speech. Comrade Xu Qingsen, Deputy Minister of Education and member of the Party Leadership Group, and Comrade Cai Yunge, Member of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Comrade Shu Lichun presided over the meeting.

Wang Shuxin’s Resume
Wang Shuxin, born in September 1966, holds a postgraduate degree and a doctorate in engineering. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, a professor, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He previously served as Vice President and Executive Deputy Party Committee Secretary of Tianjin University, and as President (at the deputy ministerial level) and Deputy Party Committee Secretary of Chongqing University.
